Free museum day

We spent our free museum day at Arts et Metier. It's in the first church in Paris with gothic influenced architecture.
Before we went in Liam cleared the courtyard of pigeons.
Holy crap, a real smile.
Something interesting.
There's the normal smile.
Liam explains why you can't touch or stand on the exhibits.
Dylan gets hands on.

Being good?
Dylan presses the button.
Video
Lots of things to look at in here.

My favorite was this thing called a rose lathe. It's like a huge spirograph that cuts the design into metal.
Liam turning the crank.
Automatons.
Clown thing.
Creepy dolls.
The smoking monkey.
Clock
Nerds!
A quiet moment.

Big ship
Fixed gear bikes.

Check that wooden bike.
Part of the old chapel.

Lil lady liberty.

Gretchen and D.
Stained glass.

Dylan didn't like being at the top.

Wow...how beautiful! Amazing pics.

When I saw the pic of the dolls, I was like "those are creepy" then I scrolled down and saw your caption and had to smile. Glad you agree.

Neat stuff! Where do you guys find these outings?

Have you checked out the Paris Sewer Museum yet?

BTW, I thought of you and all your photos of graffiti tagging when I saw this article today. Are you familiar with this movement?
