Scooting about town

Santa brought scooters for Liam and Chloe this year. Chloe took to it right away.
Liam, never having ridden one, was a little shaky at first.
Here we are in the ope space in the middle of Voltaire where the old men play petanque.
After a half hour in the freezing cold Liam started picking up speed and confidence and then talking trash at me about my scooting abilities.
Dylan was content to watch for a little while.

Eventually he had to give it a try.
He loved it, it looks like Santa might have to make a return visit. Maybe he will wait for the January sales.

Christmas afternoon

We took the metro to Madeline, here is the church of the Madeline which sits right where by the metro exit. All pictures brought to you by my sweet new camera, thanks Co!!
We headed here, the new Jackson Pollack exhibit.

The crew stood out front for a bit and texted Amelie. No pictures from inside, there was little light and lots of people. The exhibit focused on his shamanisim phase, really cool stuff. It was largely post drip althouh there were a few of his early drip pieces and some of them actually looked like things.
