In the backyard

Are you tired of pictures of snow yet? Chloe and Liam on the snow pile beside the house.
Looking for stuff to throw into the creek.
Shaking snow from the tree.
Two sticks for the creek.

Don't let him fool you, I shoveled all that.

Last week.

Walking to school in the morning, road unplowed.
This is at school, kids walk under this all day long, it has yet to take anyone out.
D has decided he wants to wear a scarf whenever he's outside. Here he is sporting the Oldham Athletics scarf(thanks Luke).
Snow fort under construction.

Feb first.

Liam gets angry when his teacher won't let him walk across the huge sheet of ice.
D swings in any weather.
D ponders the sheet of ice. It's not an easy walk.
Snow forts being built. Chloe is in the green and purple coat.

Art Roundup

For some reason none of the colors are as bright as they are in real life. This is what happens when you give a kid a big tub of glitter.
Can you tell how thick the paint is? D likes to run his hands over it when it dries.
See the specks? D still claps even with a paint brush in his hand, you should see our shirts.
Clapping with a loaded paint brush.
D likes to do a lap or two around the art room every ten minutes or so.

Dylan puts it down.

The ladies love to watch D work.
Markers, foil, glue, glitter, paint, toothpicks, D uses it all.
Moments after this picture he painted over the names.
