Stuff happening

Dylan having a cheese sandwich at the Bastille marche, not our normal marche, we are popincourt folk.
Watching the rain while wearing his sweet new jeans.

Waiting in the rain for the other kids to be let out of school. The joys of the homeschooled.

Vermont Box

Grace sent Chloe and the kids a box.
A box full of pop tarts!! D was unbelievably excited.

It's like edible gold.

Studying

Becca ponders.
It's always easier to study knowing alcohol is nearby.

Smarty pants

Ah ha.

Marie is not coming out.

Rodin

On the way to Les invalides. It is cold, Paris cold, not Vermont cold.
Liam with the Eiffel Tower.

It was a bit of a walk.

The dome(Napoleon is buried under it) of Les Invalides from the courtyard.

Liam in the courtyard.

Heading out of the courtyard of Les Invalides. This was free museum day but while Les Invalides is a state museum it isn't under the Ministry of Culture, it's under the Ministry of Defense(yes there is such a thing here and no they don't drill soldiers on how to surrender and or curl up in a ball) so not free.

The Musee Rodin is right around the corner, thanks iphone.

Liam does not like kissing statues.

I like art in which asses are being kicked.

These kids are over it. Note the priceless works of art behind them. They will appreciate all of this one day, right?

What are you looking at?

Oh right, that is a fine moustache.

The dome as seen from Rodin's garden.

That's famous stuff back there.

This is also pretty famous.

Again

I forgot what this is called but it was creepy cool as the light was falling.

A moment earlier Liam had almost pushed D into the water surrounding the sculpture.

The sun is almost down.

D studying the Gates of Hell.

Here's the horozontal version.

D standing before the gates of hell.

Ummm Dylan.

I don't know what this look is about but he asked me to take a picture and then posed like this.

D has had enough.
