Another Saturday trip to the bookstore. With two hours a day on the metro there is plenty of reading time. We also had to do some boot shopping, this took us past the Pompidou.
Look at the crazy tile work on that building.
I don't know what G is looking for.
It's not these.
Or this.
Dylan waits while G tries on boots, the girls chat. Becca tires of Chloe's story.
The girls cross the Seine.
Gretchen drops some knowledge.
Dylan watches killer gulls attack tourists.
We live in Paris where we have to walk past Notre Dame to get to the bookstore.
Killer gulls attacking tourists. I tried to figure out a way to get Gretchen on that bridge because she would have been screaming.
Notre Dame in the fading light. It was actually darker then it appears in this shot.
On the way home, Hotel de Ville.
BHV is right next to the Hotel de Ville, the juxtaposition is kinda interesting.

The group saying goodbye to Becca on the corner of Rue de Rivoli and Rue du Temple(the street we take home).
BHV has some serious christmas lights going on. With no Thanksgiving the Christmas holiday season starts right after Halloween.
Met back up with Becca and finished the night with Irish Coffee and No Country for Old Men. Having a friend that's a bartender is pretty awesome.

1. I love the picture of the Hotel deVille with the lights and the water...it could be a postcard! Gorgeous! :)
2. Those drinks looked wonderful. Also, had you already seen No Country For Old Men? Isnt it bizarre? It was way more intense than I thought it would be, but we liked it.
3. This was one of my fave posts...I love all the pics and commentary. What a beautiful place to live!
