Prevert

It took several tries to get this shot. Gretchen kept thinking i wasn't getting the sign in the shot.
People(Picasso included) painted pictures of him.
Miro painted for him.
Prevert doodled on newspapers, awesome.

Paris La Belle

We had to quay up for an hour to get in, the French love Prevert. Chloe found a chain to sit on.
Liam joined her and then they started fighting so i kicked them both off the chain.
Prevert did these cool primitive storyboards for some of his surrealist theatre stuff.
Dylan wasn't a fan.
Neither was Liam.

To the Hotel de Ville

We headed out yesterday(Tuesday) to see the Prevert exhibit at the Hotel De Ville. Like usual we walked.
Gretchen tried to take a centered picture of that head with my camera, she missed.

Sunday funk jam

Liam and i went to the Sunday market at Bastille, not our normal market. The Bastille market is really big and crowded and you hear tons of English being spoken(it's near the Bastille which means tourists and it's on Sunday when everything is closed). Liam brought his drawing of the holiday trees from the Nightmare Before Christmas and his funky sense of style.
We were treated to an awesome jazz funk band playing right in front of the Bastille at the end of the market. Tarace Boulba brought the funk.
I should have taken a picture of the crowd, it was huge. There was a lot of dancing going on.
It's not uncommon to see a small band playing in Paris but this was a big ban with a full drum kit.

Senegalese outing

Gretchen, Becca and I went out for Senegalese food Saturday night. Gretchen made me take a picture of this cafe.
The ladies.
A cool looking church we passed.
Gretchen and I ordered the Yassa.
Becca got the giant shrimp.
Mine was good, thumbs up.
We are happy.
Gretchen is either taking a picture of the girls next to us or likes my sexy elbow.
